A Solid Foundation
We believe in using the best building materials available to preserve the longevity of your investment which starts with the foundation. We are proud to use TrailerMade structural trailers. Each trailer is specifically designed to our specifications including galvanized flashing underneath to allow for insulation, 16” on center steel crossmembers, 4 corner leveling jacks, and structural sill plates at every side. If you are hitting the road with your workspace you can tow confidently with electric brakes at every wheel, solid welded tow hitch, sealed safety lights, and low ride height.
Sitting on top of our structural trailer is galvanized steel framing, not wood, for a number of reasons. Steel is lighter, more consistent, longer lasting and stronger. Surrounding the steel framing on the exterior is ZipSystem sheathing and flashing system to shield your workspace from air and moisture. It is a structural sheathing system that we use both glue and ring shank nails along each steel stud at all sides and roof.
Under your feet is 3/4” tongue and groove subfloor which is glued and screwed to the steel support crossmembers and R-30 insulation. Holding your perfect temperature inside at the walls is spray foam at all sides and corners, plus R-19 insulation, and sill gaskets.
